Holiday Greetings from Opus Osm!

St Vitus

St Vitus Cathedral at Prague Castle

Can you imagine a world without war? Or even a day without stress? You can enter this kind of space through the beauty of classical music and dance. Your ticket to the entrance awaits you in this slideshow.

A ‘Day of Remembrance’ to mark the fall of the Berlin Wall was designated on November 9. On that day the Prague Philharmonic – PKF held a Concert of Czech-German Friendship. The orchestra invited two choirs, one Czech, one German; four Italian soloists; and a German conductor.

They all came together to perform Verdi’s Requiem for a packed audience at Prague Castle’s St Vitus Cathedral.

We can’t reproduce the concert for you, but we present here a silent slideshow with photos kindly provided from the concert by the PKF. Please enjoy it with our best wishes for a holiday — and the whole year — packed with peace, quiet, friendship … and beautiful music.

Yours, Everyone at Opus Osm
