Opus Osm’s June 2015 Prague Events Calendar
Most of the ″stone theatres″ and orchestras are finishing their regular season this month. So now is a good time to grab the tickets and go to a performance – a great way to kick off your own summer holiday!
But the June calendar, like every other month, is completely full of possibilities. So this month we begin a new feature to help you sort through all the classical cultural events. Look at the far-right column, under the heading ″Selected Events You Might Enjoy.″ Here you’ll find our tips for what promise to be the most creative, innovative, ″landmark,″ or rare events, which you’ll long remember.
Of course, all Czech classical music, opera, and ballet performances are included every month in our Events Calendar. You can access them on the Calendar in the upper right corner of any Opus Osm page. Simply click on the orange date.
Or do you want to see what’s going on for the whole month? You can see the entire month at a glance by clicking on the black “Calendar” tab at the top of any page.
You might be interested to know that, to our knowledge, the Opus Osm calendars offer the most complete list of Prague Czech classical events available on the internet in English.
Czech National Ballet, decadance
We try to include every Prague performance that’s academy-level and higher, chosen according to the performance, rather than because of the tickets we sell. (In fact, we don’t sell tickets; we leave that to others. This helps you distinguish between journalistic and commercial internet information.)
And the articles you find on the Opus Osm Home page are all original, written by our own writers who attend the performances and interview the artists.
So take a quick tour around either of our Calendars, check the “Selected Events You Might Enjoy” column, and get set for a glorious June filled with music, opera, and dance. And be sure to check our Home page regularly for reports, videos, and more about many of these performances.
Enjoy your Prague in June – we sure do!
