Win a Czech Philharmonic Calendar

Opus Osm

Part of the calendar page for March

Be one of the first to send your name to Opus Osm at editor@opusosm.com, subject line Philharmonic, and you will win a winsome 2013 calendar courtesy of The Czech Philharmonic! It’s absolutely free of charge.

The calendar cover features “cover boy” Jiří Bělohlávek with a magically floating conductor’s baton.

And each month shows various members of the world-class orchestra jumping with a violin, wearing a cymbal as a hat, or just cuddling their respective beloved tune-maker.

(You may have seen similar photos on the large posters around town with the theme, “We Live Music.”)

The Czech Philharmonic’s whimsical campaign shows that these very sympathetic musicians love their music but don’t take themselves too entirely seriously. You can share in the fun by enjoying a different portrayal every month if you win one of these free calendars. Whether you win or not, you can also enjoy the Philharmonic live in lively concerts throughout the year.
