But what’s it like to organize an open-air opera or opera highlights when you have to choose the right location, round up the opera singers … and hope it doesn’t rain?
Elizabeth Haas takes a peek backstage for a chat with Vratislav Kříž, himself a former opera singer and currently the organizer behind Opera Czech Republic. The company presents the National Theatre singers and its Orchestra in open-air opera performances each summer.
