Wednesday is ‘poll day’ at Opus Osm, and here’s our latest poll.

This time we’re getting down to basics with our question on the main purpose of classical performances. (We’re not including training, lessons, performing at home, etc. We’re asking about performances for a paying audience.)

What do you think?

Register your opinion in our poll by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking your answer. Multiple answers are welcomed. You can write in your own choice, too.

The thing that makes polling so much fun is seeing your answers, so be sure to include yours.

Results from Poll #4: When Should Children Start Going to Classical Concerts?

All voters were pretty much but not totally in agreement:

75% of you thought “As soon as they show interest or curiosity in classical music.”

But another 25% had this idea: “After they’ve learned something about it at home.”

Nobody agreed that “Just before becoming rebellious teenagers” was the best time!
